The Lone Wolf

I take a step back, terror running down my spine

sharp white teeth smile to greet me

Fur as  black as the abyss to camouflage the creature in the night

the creature stands still, filling my entire being with a horrifying fear

I take the risk and start to creep towards the creature

Its teeth leek liquid and its flesh ripping claws come to greet me at a water pools edge

I stare into the reflection that is me.
